Our personal experience of dating may be unique. We are all different; so why should that be a surprise? We are much more likely to get stuck during dating if we don’t understand what the process should feel for us as an individual.

This class will cover the fundamental concepts about the dating journey, and how and why people can get stuck along the way. We will discuss real-life stories that will bring those ideas to life. We will also have plenty of time for discussion.

Who we marry is possibly the single most important and consequential choice we shall ever make. Unsurprisingly, it can lead to worry and concern that a wrong decision will be made. The problem is that the fear this can generate will interfere in one’s ability to think clearly and act wisely. For many, commitment phobia and avoidance are very real.

This class will explore where fear comes from, why it has such a hold on us, how it impacts the dating experience, and especially concepts and tools to best manage fear.

When anxiety kicks in, it can be hard to date properly. Dating can feel overwhelming, and demanding of people to navigate a range of complexities. Nerves and stress can flood the person’s mind with negative thoughts that make it difficult to feel good about the relationship. Experiencing this, people ask: “Will someone just make my anxiety go away.”

This class will cover how anxiety undermines a person’s confidence, enjoyment, and positivity around dating. A clearer understanding of this topic will help people to gain a clearer perspective about how to navigate anxiety, and how to be better equipped to prevent it from getting in the way of shidduch success.

Sunday, March 9, 2025

Shidduch success involves meeting the right person and getting the dating right. Many a shidduch was made to struggle or fail because of avoidable misunderstandings. When it comes to shidduchim, success is often in the details.

This class will help you to get the small things right from the beginning to the end. We will share proven strategies around such vital topics and dating etiquette and effective communication. We will impart wise tips choosing how to navigate the shidduch system, set up the dating for success, building trust and connection, and how to finalize or end a relationship.
